Here is my District Executive visitation schedule for 2010. These annual visits are a service provided to you and the district churches by the Northern Ohio District Board. Please take advantage of this important resource by marking the date and time for your visit on your calendar right away!
I plan to call on full-time and most part-time pastors and interims at their churches, and to call on most retired ministers, licensed ministers, lay speakers and some part-time pastors and interims at their homes or workplaces. Dinnertime visits can be at your home or a nearby restaurant, whichever is more convenient. If the date or time conflict with your schedule, call the District Office as soon as possible and we will make different arrangements. You will receive a confirmation telephone call or email message a few days prior to your visit.
Church Board or Leadership Team Chairs, I realize that my visits to your churches probably won’t correspond with your usual meeting schedules. The purpose of these specially-called 90-minute meetings is for church leaders and the District Executive to get acquainted and talk together about local church, district and denominational matters of mutual interest. Please notify your board/leadership team of this meeting date, and also consider opening this meeting to your entire congregation.
